Police: ‘Hero’ Saved Lives from Illegal Alien Terrorists
A tip saved lives in Richmond, Virginia where authorities say illegal immigrants were planning to shoot people on the Fourth of July.
The suspects arrested have been identified by police as Julio Alvarado-Dubon, 52, and Rolman Balacarcel, 38. Authorities say the two were roommates.
“The intent was clear,” Richmond Police Chief Gerald Smith told reporters. “The intent was to cause a mass shooting and to take lives and to do damage.”
“There is no telling how many lives this hero citizen saved from one phone call,” said Smith.
Jeff Katz, a radio personality for Richmond-based WRVA, was not shocked to hear of illegal aliens being in the city of Richmond.
“Mayor Levar Stoney issued a Mayoral Directive ordering that the Richmond Police Department not cooperate with ICE,” Katz told toddstarnes.com.
Stoney has avoided the phrase “sanctuary city,” but Katz says that is exactly what Richmond has become.
“Further, thanks to Mayor Stoney all city parks, including Dogwood Dell, are ‘gun-free zones’ due to the City Council enacting the mayor’s ordinance,” says Katz. “It would appear that only law-abiding citizens at Dogwood Dell would have been unarmed and therefore not able to defend themselves against heavily armed criminals, (and) it’s a good reminder that criminals, by definition, do not follow the law.”
Ira Mehlman of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) slammed President Biden’s policies.
“Once again, the reckless border and immigration policies of the Biden administration left the American public exposed to threats from foreign terrorists and criminals,” says Mehlman. “One of the men suspected in the planned attack had been deported several times.”
While it is not clear yet when he reentered the country, Mehlman says the “deliberate chaos created by Biden’s policies” has increased the risk that dangerous criminals and terrorists can easily infiltrate the country.
“DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ refusal to carry out immigration enforcement in the interior of the country dramatically decreases the chances that dangerous foreign nationals will be apprehended and removed,” says Mehlman. “Despite these obvious threats to the security of the nation, the administration shows no inclination to restore order at the border and reinstate effective immigration enforcement.”
