Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre reached a settlement in her sexual abuse lawsuit against him, according to court papers filed Tuesday.

The sum of the settlement will not be disclosed, the letter to New York district Judge Lewis Kaplan said.
Andrew, however, will donate a substantial amount to Giuffre’s charity in support of victim’s rights.
Giuffre claimed in the suit filed in August that she was sexually abused by the Duke of York three times before turning 18 in London, New York, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The son of Queen Elizabeth II maintains his innocence and said he accepts Giuffre suffered as a result of being sex trafficked by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks,” the letter reads.
“It is known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years. Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein, and commends the bravery of Ms. Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others,” it adds.
