Sen. Rand Paul, Wife, “Attacked” By Angry Mob Outside White House

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and his wife were among the Trump supporters who were confronted by an angry mob as they were leaving the White House last night.

“Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House, he wrote on Twitter early Friday. “Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob.”

An officer was captured on video being shoved by a protester and was nearly knocked over. Paul appeared to help steady the officer.

“What happened to Rand & Kelley tonight (and numerous others exiting the RNC) was wrong,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) wrote on Twitter. “The police protecting them were heroic, but this needs to stop. This is very close to escalating to serious violence.”
A United States senator and his wife could’ve been assaulted or even killed by a violent mob on the streets of an American city.
Enough talk!
It’s time for President Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act and put down this national rebellion.
