“SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED!” Gunfire Breaks Out at Louisville Protest

Gunfire broke out during a violent protest in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday night. At least a dozen shots could be heard during a live television report.

Ryan Van Velzer, a reporter for television station WFPL, was an eyewitness to the carnage.

“Just watched two men shot right in front of me,” he wrote on Twitter.

Video from the scene shows first responders rushing to treat at least one of the victims while rioters jumped on police vehicles.
