A teenage host at a Cheddar’s restaurant in Memphis was beaten unconscious by thug customers who were upset because of their seating arrangements. It happened Sunday at the restaurant chain’s location on North Germantown Parkway.
Latisha Ford posted a photograph of paramedics working on her 17-year-old son after he was brutally beaten.
“I’m still in disbelief that my son was jumped on by grown people over a table seating,” she wrote on Facebook. “Anybody that know my kids know they are respectful, don’t bother nobody, and love to work. I don’t wish this hurt on no parent. I thank God he kept my son here. Those wounds can heal but you can’t bring a life back.”

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
“He had a concussion, his face was swollen, and he had a lot of bruises on him. He is really sore. They busted his neck really bad,” she told television station WREG.
Memphis Police said that the group of diners was upset because they could not be seated at one table. The altercation was captured on surveillance video.
She also had a message for the thugs who attacked her son.
“I’m not letting up on the people that did this to him,” she said. “Justice will be served for my son.”
