The Los Angeles Dodgers will honor and celebrate an anti-Christian hate group that once mocked Christ crucified on a cross. Watch the video below after the ad and be warned that it is extremely graphic.
The Dodgers enraged Catholics and other Christians after the ball club announced they would award the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence with a “Community Hero Award.”
“They have besmirched their legacy of combating bigotry by partnering with LA Pride in awarding this year’s Community Hero Award to an obscene anti-Catholic group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,”Catholic League president Bill Donohue said.
The Dodgers originally banned the group, but reversed that decision after gay rights groups raised unholy hell.
“These homosexual bigots are known for simulating sodomy while dressed as nuns. They like to feature a ‘Condom Savior Mass,’ one that describes how the ‘Latex Host is the flesh for the life of the world.’ The ‘Sisters’ go by names such as ‘Sister Homo Fellatio’ and ‘Sister Joyous Reserectum.’ Just last month, they held an event mocking Our Blessed Mother and Jesus on Easter Sunday,” Donohue said.
The Dodgers not only re-invited the perverted and profane “nuns”, but they also issued a profuse apology.
“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families.
We have asked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take their place on the field at our 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16th. We are pleased to share that they have agreed to receive the gratitude of our collective communities for the lifesaving work that they have done tirelessly for decades.
In the weeks ahead, we will continue to work with our LGBTQ+ partners to better educate ourselves, find ways to strengthen the ties that bind and use our platform to support all of our fans who make up the diversity of the Dodgers family.”
