A Bible was removed from a POW-MIA table inside a medical center for veterans in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
An Air Force veteran who was getting medical treatment saw the display and became triggered. The veteran identifies as an atheist.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation says the veteran had filed a complaint with a patient advocate to have the Bible removed from the table.
MRFF founder Mikey Weinstein fired off a letter to the VA medical center telling them that the inclusion of the Bible on the sacred table was disrespectful to non-Christians.
Weinstein claimed in an email that the presence of the Bible is “illegal, unethical and immoral.”
Within minutes the medical center removed the Bible. And in doing so, they desecrated the sacred table memorializing those missing in action as well as our prisoners of war.
What a shameful thing.
But clearly, in the Biden Administration’s VA – God has no seat at the table.
