Video has surfaced of a biohazard incident that forced a Barcelona-bound Delta jetliner to make an emergency landing in Atlanta. It turns out a passenger suffered an explosive case of diarrhea “all over the plane.”
“We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta,” the pilot said on a recording from LiveATC and shared on X.

The video clip shows a brown trail down the center of the plane with paper towels on most heavily soiled areas in an attempt to cover the unsightly mess. The Friday flight from Atlanta to Barcelona, Spain, was forced to turn back around about two hours into the eight-hour journey after a pilot informed air traffic control they had suffered a “biohazard” incident on board.
