Tennessee Titans linebacker Bud Dupree is facing a misdemeanor assault charge after he smacked around two Walgreens employees in Nashville. It happened Sunday after the Titans’ victory over the Miami Dolphins.
The Titans said in a statement that they “are aware of the situation and are gathering additional information.”
The Tennessean reports that a citation issued against Dupree stated some of Dupree’s companions got into an argument with a male employee. According to the citation, Dupree then grabbed the employee and his phone and got into a “physical altercation.”
Dupree had left the store by the time police arrived, according to Aaron. The male employee was treated for a cut to his forehead, Aaron said. A female employee was also treated for a cut on her hand.
