A violent mob brutally attacked a man who was reportedly protecting a store from being looted.
“It appears he attempted to defend a shop with a large sword looters ran at him, then he charged rioters,” wrote eyewitness Elijah Schaffer. “They then beat him with a skateboard and stoned him with medium sized rocks.
An extended video clip shows the victim chasing someone with the sword before the attack. It’s not clear why he was chasing the individual. We reached out to the Dallas PD for more information. And we will update our story once that information is made available.
Schaffer, reporting for Blaze TV, posted video of the horrifying beat-down on Twitter. It shows an angry mob pummeling the man as he convulsed on the ground.
“Some people were concerned, others laughed at him and many more continued to loot high end stores around him while he bled out on the assault,” he wrote.
The journalist said he called for an ambulance.
