Radio station KWAM The Mighty 990 obtained disturbing video showing an angry mob clashing with Memphis police officers. The incident occurred near Beale Street. Police did not explain what caused the initial disturbance. The video shows several people in the crowd physically confronting officers. The crowd later dispersed when officers on horseback arrived. What’s disturbing is that the progressive Memphis City Council refuses to provide officers the resources they need to keep the city safe. What’s even more outrageous is that Beale Street is one the most heavily protected streets in the city.
