A street carnival for Jewish children was shut down in Brooklyn by the New York City Police Department.
The Yeshiva World reports that the father of one of the children was issued a summons for hosting a “social gathering.”
Such an event is a crime in New York City these days.
Police quickly shut down the event in Williamsburg. The carnival featured several tables with children selling popcorn and lemonade.
