“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest will replace Pat Sajak on the “Wheel of Fortune” next year.
Sajak recently announced his retirement after becoming the longest running game show host.

Seacrest posted a lengthy statement on social media:
“I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak,” Seacrest said in part. “I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White.”
