After two years of Hollywood denying any differing opinions on the coronavirus pandemic, it appears some celebrities are finally waking up.
Comedian John Mulaney hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend. However, the iconic weekend show has fallen into obscurity as it focused less on comedy and more on political statements. The show famously has mocked “anti maskers” and those that refused to get the coronavirus vaccine. That was, until a few days ago.
Mulaney lent his sarcastic humor to a sketch that featured Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson and others at what was titled a “COVID Dinner Discussion.”
The characters seemed to have this sudden epiphany that everything the government has been doing in the past two years was really unnecessary.
Better late than never, I suppose.
