It also earned CinemaScore’s first “A+” rating of the year with a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said she wasn’t surprised the movie was breaking records.
“It is unapologetically pro-America and shows what unfathomable bravery and incomparable talent our military has. Wow!” McEnany tweeted.
