Beth Moore Attacks Pastor For Endorsing Modesty, But She Once Told Women: ‘You Keep Your Breasts to Yourself’
Beth Moore, the woman’s Bible study teacher, rebuked a pastor who called on women to dress modestly.
“Dear Ladies, There is no reason whatsoever for you to post pictures of yourself in low cut shirts, bikinis, bra and underwear, or anything similar—ever. Not to show your weight loss journey. Not to show your newborn baby. Not to document your birth story,” Pastor Brian Sauve wrote on Twitter.
In response, Mrs. Moore told the pastor to stop talking and to “mind your own unders.” We think that may be code for “ladies unmentionables.
It did not take long for digital sleuths to discover that Mrs. Moore was once a fierce supporter of modesty and actually held to the same beliefs that Pastor Sauve was advocating.
“You keep your breasts to yourself,” she once told a crowd of cheering women. “We are very well what we are putting on when we leave the house.”
Pastor Tom Buck shared the video below and drew immediate criticism from Mrs. Moore.
“Tom, I’m just amazed you guys are still fixated on me. For crying out loud, have y’all nothing else to do?? I’ve not changed re: modesty. I’m simply CREEPED OUT by hyper fundamentalist dudes telling women in that kind of detail how not to dress in pics. Be modest in your speech,” she said.
