Phil Robertson and his family are big fans of President Trump.
“He has done more for Christianity than any president we’ve had since Reagan for sure, and I say more than Reagan,” the star of Duck Dynasty said.
Phil and two of his sons, Al and Jase, dropped by the Todd Starnes Radio Show today to promote their new video podcast, “Unashamed.”
“They’ve really gone to bat for people of faith,” Jase added.
Robertson said it’s time for the Democrats to get off the president’s back.
“We have to learn how to forgive and let’s move on,” he said.
Robertson said he first met Trump on the campaign trail and he promptly shared the gospel message. The Duck Commander drew out the plan of salvation in hieroglyphic form.
“He said, ‘Let me have that paper, so I gave him the paper,” he said. “I talked to him not long ago and he said he still had that paper.”
Jase said he appreciates the president’s promise to drain the swamp.
“I’m one of few people that’s seen what happens when you drain a literal swamp. I mean it’s a mess,” he said. “I will say this he is the most transparent president that’s ever been elected.”
The popular podcast, titled “Unashamed” is about transforming lives, Al said.
“I saw my dad stand unashamed for the last 42 years,” he said. “We are in this culture to make a difference.”
