Evangelist Franklin Graham reacted to a new COVID vaccine microchip which some have compared to the “mark of the beast.”
The son of Billy Graham commented on news that a Swedish company made a chip that can be implanted under the skin and scanned for vaccine passport information. He noted that it could be used as a requirement to enter restaurants or businesses or even fly commercially.
“The Bible tells us that in the end times there will be a one world system,” Graham wrote in a lengthy Facebook post. “Revelation 13:16-17 says, ‘Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark…'”

“I personally do not think this particular chip is the mark the Bible talks about, but it does make you think how close we may be,” Graham said.
“Christians around the world are wondering if #COVID19 is being used as a way to condition the world population to accept a mark like this,” the CEO of Samaritan’s Purse tweeted.
“If a scannable chip can contain vaccine information, adding other personal information could be a short step away,” he said.
But Graham said Christians have nothing to fear.
“People who’ve put their faith in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, don’t need to be afraid,” Graham explained. “We shouldn’t live in fear. God told us what’s coming in His Word.”
And he urges everyone to ensure eternal salvation.
“Make sure your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life by repenting of your sins & putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ,” Graham concluded.
