Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.
Public libraries around the nation are rolling out the glitter carpet for drag queens — but Jesus is getting the heave-ho.
At least 50 taxpayer-funded libraries that hosted drag queen story hours have refused to host story times featuring Kirk Cameron.
Mr. Cameron is a well-known conservative actor and Hollywood producer. He most recently wrote “As You Grow,” a children’s book series promoting faith, family and biblical values.
“It teaches biblical wisdom and the value of producing the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control,” Cameron told Fox News.

“It is devastating to discover that many of our publicly funded libraries have now become indoctrination centers that refuse to allow biblical wisdom to be taught to our children,” Brave Books founder Trent Talbot told Fox News. “The woke left understands that morality is instilled by the age of 10, and they want their morality to win, not the morality that the Bible teaches.”
One Rhode Island library turned down the book citing in a message to Cameron’s publisher that they were a “queer-friendly library.”

50 taxpayer-funded libraries reject a story time for a faith-based book for kids written by Kirk Cameron. Those same libraries host queer story time hours. Gays are welcome, but God is not.— toddstarnes (@toddstarnes) December 7, 2022
“We are a very queer-friendly library. Our messaging does not align,” the library reportedly told Brave Books. Very queer, indeed.
A San Diego library rejected the book because of their “diverse community.”
So reading books about teenage boys slipping into a sparkly dress and high heels is okay — but reading books about God is apparently homophobic and triggering.
It’s understandable that so many Americans believe their local libraries have become LGBT propaganda centers.
It seems to me if taxpayer-funded libraries can host non-binary, pronoun confused, authors of color, they can certainly squeeze in a Christian, heterosexual white dude.
