Today, a motorcade carrying Graham’s casket made its way from the Billy Graham Training Center in North Carolina to the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte.
Police officers and state troopers escorted the motorcade through the small town of Black Mountain, North Carolina — as far as the eye could see people stood silently as their neighbor passed by.
Along the interstate, cars and trucks pulled off the side of the road as firefighters gathered on overpasses — hoisting American flags onto ladder trucks. One officer saluted the beloved evangelist.
