Evangelist Franklin Graham shared a National Day of Prayer declaration Thursday in a video.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association president noted that the “country is in trouble. We are in a downward spiral morally, spiritually, and the only hope for our country is Christians praying and for God to intervene.”

He invited anyone watching to join him in prayer.
“Father, we pray that you would turn this nation’s heart back to you,” Graham said in the prayer shared on Twitter.
“Father, we thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ,” he added. “Thank you for sending Him to earth to die for our sins. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
