As many as 1,000 people raised their hands to acknowledge they had asked Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior during Kanye West’s “Sunday Service” in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Curvine Brewington, a staff pastor at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, posted testimony of the event on Instagram.
“God was preached, a multitude prayed together, the Gospel was clearly proclaimed, and an opportunity to respond was given,” the pastor wrote.
As many as 6,000 people were in attendance at the service at Bethany Church.
“I witnessed over 1,000 people respond to the Gospel by raising their hands to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior,” the pastor declared. “I witnessed a new wave of REVIVAL first hand.”
Praise God for this report and I pray those who accepted Christ will follow through with baptism and will find a local church where they can be discipled.
And praise God for the work He has done in the life of Kanye West — a new believer in our Lord.
Kanye has been subjected to unfair criticism from the Mainstream Media, from Hollywood and sadly from fellow believers.
We are all sinners saved by grace – something to remember – especially for those who are casting stones.
