An obscure rock band has banned all Christians and Trump supporters from their concerts.

Ronnie Winter, the lead singer of a musical group called “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” posted a video on social media announcing that any Christ follower who purchased tickets to an upcoming show would be provided a refund.

“If you’re Christian and you voted for Donald Trump, shame on you,” Winter said in the video. He was wearing a black tank top exposing toothpick-sized arms. “If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows ever.”

The 42-year-old rocker, who has not generated much national acclaim, said he actually follows the teachings of Christ. And he said the Son of God is actually woke.

“The thing about being woke is you’re awake,” he said.

Winters went on to say that if you attend one of his concerts “you’re going to hear a lot of woke propaganda.”

“You’re going to hear the actual words of Jesus,” he said. “You’re going to see a lot of acceptance from all areas of life and races. You’re just going to see a lot of harmony. That’s not what you’re about.”

So The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus accepts everyone except Christians and Conservatives? That doesn’t sound very tolerant to me.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has apparently been touring since 2003 but I’ve never heard of these guys.

How sad to be a bunch of washed-up, middle-aged rockers whose claim to fame was playing Tuesday nights in the Best Western lounge in Kalamazoo. And more than 20 years later they’re trying to find relevance by attacking President Trump and his supporters.

I predict by the end of the week they’ll have a hard time landing a gig to play birthday parties at Chuck-E-Cheese.
