Senior Center Bans Christians From Promoting Bible Study

The federal government has a problem with senior citizens who love Jesus.

The American Center for Law and Justice is representing a group of residents in a senior living complex in Minnesota. ACLJ makes it a policy not to reveal the names of their clients.

The elderly Christians held a Bible study in the apartment complex – and for a while they were able to promote their event on the community calendar, message boards and even a door on the community room.

But a few months ago, management said they could no longer do that. They said the Bible study name could be offensive to others. They even confiscated a blackboard that had announced the Bible study.

ACLJ warned the senior center that their behavior was illegal and unconstitutional. And within a few days – the rights of the Christians were restored.

This is what happens when Happy Warriors fight the good fight! Well done, ACLJ. And this is why I wrote “Twilight’s Last Gleaming: Can America Be Saved?” Click here to read my book.

Should senior citizens be allowed to pray and study the Bible in a taxpayer-funded community center?
