“There is a Revival Happening Among Young People in America” – Jack Graham
Dr. Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, told The Todd Starnes Show that God is moving in a mighty way among America’s young people — and he believes the nation may be on the verge of a spiritual awakening.
“There is a revival happening among young people in America,” Graham told Todd Starnes.
That message came in the aftermath of Rededicate 250, the national prayer and worship gathering on the National Mall marking America’s coming 250th birthday. Graham was among the featured faith leaders, joining Franklin Graham, Jonathan Falwell, Jentezen Franklin and Robert Jeffress.
And while the secular press may scoff at the idea of revival, there is evidence something is stirring.

Barna Group reported in 2025 that Gen Z and Millennials are now leading a resurgence in church attendance. The typical Gen Z churchgoer attends 1.9 weekends per month, while Millennial churchgoers average 1.8 weekends — the highest rates Barna has recorded among young Christians since it began tracking them.
Barna also found a dramatic rebound in Bible reading. Weekly Bible reading among U.S. adults climbed from 30 percent in 2024 to 42 percent in 2025. Among Gen Z, Barna reported a surge from 30 percent to 49 percent in just one year.
Graham’s message at Rededicate 250 was one of repentance, hope and national renewal.
“He is the God of wonders,” Graham declared. “It’s been said that revival is a new beginning of obedience to God. May God give us a new beginning.”
The longtime Texas pastor said America is not beyond the reach of God’s mercy.
“There is no person too hard for God to save, there’s no problem too hard for God to solve, there’s no prayer too hard for God to answer,” Graham said.
“There’s no mountain too hard for God to move, there’s no marriage too hard for God to restore, there’s no body too broken that God cannot heal,” the pastor said. “There is no soul too divided that God cannot restore. There is no prodigal too far from God that He cannot forgive. Why? Because our God can do anything but fail.”
To be sure, not every researcher is ready to declare a nationwide revival. Pew Research Center reported that national measures of religion have largely stabilized since 2020, but said it found “no clear evidence” of a broad religious revival among young adults. Pew did, however, acknowledge that “interesting things” are happening among young people and that smaller movements may not yet be large enough to register in national surveys.
Graham told Starnes the signs are impossible to ignore. Young people are opening Bibles, returning to church and asking eternal questions.
