Team USA’s beloved wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock said “God just spoke through” her after she won gold at the Tokyo Olympics. Then she came home and made her mom’s dream come true!
“I just wanted to help my mom’s dream come true like she’s helped mine come true,” she told ABC 13 Houston.
Mensah-Stock’s mom, Shonda Wells, has been cooking and selling BBQ out of a pit on two wheels. She promised her mom a food truck five years ago.
And not only is she coming through, but it’s going to be even bigger than Mensah-Stock’s $30,000 Olympic winnings.
Cameron Davies, the owner of Cruising Kitchens, surprised the mother-daughter duo on Zoom. He told them his team will design, build and donate a $250,000 food truck for Wells.
