A month ago CNN hosted a town hall for former President Trump. It was a ratings winner for the fledgling network. And it was part of an effort by then-CNN chairman Chris Licht to move the network to the center. That effort led to a revolt among CNN’s leftist broadcasters and the eventual ouster of Licht. And now CNN is back to its anti-Trump ways. Yesterday, Jake Tapper got triggered on air when producers showed footage of huge crowds cheering the former president. He ordered producers to stop broadcasting the footage. CNN also refused to air the former president’s speech last night.
