Former Fox News Channel host and former White House correspondent Ed Henry said the channel “tried to off” former President Trump when it called Arizona on election night 2020.

“What I saw on election night was that they hand Bret Baier this thing saying, ‘We’re calling Arizona’…nobody was calling Arizona,” Henry said at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Texas.
“War Room” host Steve Bannon asked Henry why he thought it went down that way.

“What I think happened is that the Murdochs saw an opportunity to off Trump,” Henry said. “We call Arizona early. Everyone else goes on board. Biden’s going to win. Trump can’t win without Arizona…and he can’t declare victory because Fox cut him off at the knees.”
“Then January 6 happens,” he added. “Fox goes all in on the insurrection.”
Henry said Fox lost ratings after the Arizona call and then claimed “election fraud” until Jan. 6.
“They could not stand Donald Trump,” he said of the Fox News Decision Desk team.
Henry also said that Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott told employees, “We’re moving away from Trump.”
