Fox News Channel has banned MyPillow advertisements.
“Fox News has cancelled My Pillow and I don’t have the reasons why yet,” MyPillow founder Mike Lindell announced on Steve Bannon’s television program.
Fox Media Relations told Mediaite that Lindell hasn’t paid his bill.
“As soon as their account is paid, we would be happy to accept their advertising,” the spokesperson said.
Lindell denied that claim – pointing out he has a line of credit with the news channel. He speculated that Fox might have pulled the advertising to punish Lindell after he hired ex-Fox host Lou Dobbs for his television platform.
“It’s very alarming and suspicious – out of the blue you’re cancelled,” a flustered Lindell said. “I’m beside myself. I don’t know what to say.”
Conservatives lit up social media platforms to attack Fox — accusing the network of turning on its viewers.
“I am FED UP,” said Brigitte Gabriel, founder of ACT for America. “Fox News isn’t just caving to the woke mob, they’ve joined it. Fox is actively attacking and canceling MyPillow over Mike Lindell’s support for President Trump! Fox News is waging a war on every single hard working employee at MyPillow over politics, how shameful.”
Lindell said he has been a partner with Fox since 2014 and spent hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising for the network.
“It’s full cancellation,” he said. “They won’t accept cash money from us.”
