There’s been a stunning turn of events at Fox News Channel where employees were ordered to disclose their vaccination status. Click here to follow Todd on Facebook.
“We have asked all employees – whether on site as part of our essential workforce or working remotely – to upload their vaccination status into Workday,” Fox News announced in a memorandum obtained by AdWeek.
“Workday” is a digital platform used by employees to conduct routine affairs like asking for vacation days or keeping up to date on internal company business.
“All employees must enter their status no later than today, August 17th, by close of business,” the directive read.
“All employees and vendors are required to complete a daily screening ahead of reporting to work,” the memorandum stated. “At many locations, you will be asked to display either a WorkCare ‘Go to work’ green screen or a FOX Clear Pass to a security representative upon entering the building or workspace.”
The memorandum does not state what will happen to any staffers who refuse to get jabbed with the experimental China virus drug.
Nor does it say what will happen to on-air hosts who have been some of the loudest voices in the nation against mandatory vaccines. Will those individuals be allowed in the building? Will they be fired? Suspended? Allowed to work from home?
Fox News also said that some essential workers will be “required to test at least once weekly due to their role at Fox News Media regardless of vaccination status.”
The Mainstream Media is having a field day with the Fox News memorandum — accusing the network that Roger Ailes built of Covid hypocrisy.
CNN reported “Fox quietly implemented its own version of a vaccine passport in June. The system allowed for employees to voluntarilyself-report to Fox the dates their shots were administered and which vaccines were used.”
“Despite host Tucker Carlson calling vaccine passports ‘medical Jim Crow,’ the network implemented its own this summer called Fox Clear Pass, allowing vaccinated people to enjoy different privileges than their unvaccinated colleagues,” NBC News reported.
