Former Fox News star Megyn Kelly claims the network is “clearly” the one leaking behind-the-scenes material of ousted host Tucker Carlson.
“The Megyn Kelly Show” host was responding to news that Fox sent a cease-and-desist letter to Media Matters, which has been sharing unaired footage of Carlson under “FOXLEAKS.”
“FOX did not consent to its distribution or publication; and FOX does not consent to its further distribution or publication. This proprietary material was given to you without FOX’s authorization,” Fox lawyer Christopher Chiou told Angelo Carusone, Media Matters CEO.
Kelly offered some advice to Fox’s legal team.
“Pro tip: you might want to look inside the org to stop the allegedly horrifying leaks before threatening those who are publishing them,” she tweeted.
Then the ex-“Kelly File” host added, “Oh and also you don’t mind the leaks you are clearly behind them. K bye!”
She said Fox most likely orchestrated the campaign against him.
“We don’t know the real reason he was canned, but the audience gets it,” Kelly said on her show Thursday.
