I own KWAM, the leading news talk radio station in Memphis, Tennessee. It angers me that my tax dollars are used to prop up a broadcast competitor that spits on our Founding Fathers and our Founding Documents.
NPR cannot afford to pay its bills which is why they must rely on monthly welfare checks from radio station owners in the private sector.

NPR thumbs its nose at the Declaration of Independence. As a radio station owner it angers me that my tax dollars are used to prop up a broadcast competitor that cannot afford to pay its bills – and must rely on public welfare checks.— toddstarnes (@toddstarnes) July 4, 2022
This July 4th we break with tradition. Instead of a reading of the Declaration of Independence @NPRinskeep examines what equality means and has meant in this document. Important segment about our past and future…produced by @marcarivers and @bgordemer https://t.co/MxlgNaWpC1— Leila Fadel (@LeilaFadel) July 4, 2022
