Starnes: Twitter Can Kiss My Conservative, Baptist Backside

The rumors are true – I have been suspended by Twitter. And now you know why I’ve been urging my readers to sign up for my free newsletter – to avoid censorship. Click here to sign up.

Congressman Eric Swalwell, the California Democrat, launched a campaign to have me removed from Twitter.

Furious that I pointed out the Biden Administration did not properly vet thousands of Afghan refugees. He accused me of hate speech – said I put targets on the backs of his Muslim constituents.

Here’s the back story:

During the Muslim terrorist attack at the Texas synagogue, I posted a tweet calling out President Biden’s extreme lack of interest in border security.

“Remember when Biden failed to vet any of the Afghan ‘refugees,” I wrote, including the hashtags #synagogue and #colleyville.

In hindsight we know that some very bad people were allowed to enter this nation because of the administration’s botched evacuation of Afghanistan. We also know that the administration has no interest in guarding our borders.

So how exactly did the Texas attacker, who was reportedly a convicted criminal, gain access to our nation?

Instead of addressing that particular issue, Swalwell slapped me with a cowardly false flag attack.

“How can @twitter allow this hate speech,” Swalwell wrote. “This ‘verified’ guy is falsely blaming Afghans for the #ColleyvilleSynagogue standoff. The suspect WAS NOT Afghan. This false tweet will put targets on my Afghan constituents’ backs.”

The congressman’s accusations were all untrue of course – but truth is irrelevant when it comes to Democrats and Big Tech.

Within a matter of minutes, I was suspended by Twitter for violating the company’s hate speech policies.

Swalwell, you might recall, made national headlines because of his questionable and curious relationship with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang.

I suspect this will not be the last time that I am suspended or censored by Twitter or Facebook or YouTube.

That’s how the Cancel Culture mob operates – they want to bully you into submission.

But I’m not going to be bullied by Big Tech. I’m not going to be silenced by the Cancel Culture mob.

You can still read my column and watch my videos and engage in the conversation on my website – whether you are a liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican.

ToddStarnes.com is a place that actually values free speech.

As for putting targets on their backs, perhaps Congressman Swalwell could update the nation on the true nature of his relationship with Ms. Fang Fang.
