CNN host Chris Cuomo, the brother of embattled New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, ironically accused Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of “playing politics” as “people are dying” for not wearing a face mask.
“At this point I’ve been vaccinated. Everybody working in the Senate has been vaccinated,” Cruz told CNN.
Both Cruz and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) are not wearing their face masks in the halls of Congress, despite CDC guidance.
Cuomo called it “baffling” that Cruz and Paul would not wear their masks, saying the vaccine is not “100%.”
Newsbusters‘ Curtis Houck points out the “Prime Time” host has been a repeat offender of going maskless in public and left his home while he was COVID-positive.
After piling on Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) for questioning Dr. Anthony Fauci, Cuomo said, “You have too many people on the right who don’t want to get the vaccine.”
Cuomo concluded: “We now have a President, though, who believes in science.”
