‘Where Were You?’ DeSantis Challenges CNN Reporter on Evacuation

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) criticized CNN when one of its reporters pressed him on why one county did not have a mandatory evacuation until the day before Hurricane Ian hit.

“Why do you stand behind Lee County’s decision to not have that mandatory evacuation until the day before the storm?” CNN correspondent Nadia Romero asked.

“Well, where was your industry stationed when the storm hit?” DeSantis replied. “Were you guys in Lee County? No, you were in Tampa.”
