About six months ago YouTube shut down my account and banned me from its platform. I had posted a video of a speech delivered by President Trump – and that was the extent of my social media crime. YouTube said the president’s speech violated their community standards and I was summarily evicted from the community.
Needless to say it was disappointing news and I began the arduous task of filing appeals – which I did weekly.
On Tuesday, I received news that YouTube had gone back and reviewed my channel and they determined that a mistake had been made.
“After taking another look, we can confirm that your channel does not violate our Community Guidelines,” YouTube announced in an email. “Thanks for your patience while we reviewed this appeal.”
They went on to apologize, which I gladly accepted.
“We’re sorry for any frustration our mistake caused you and we appreciate you letting us know,” they wrote. “To make this right, we’ve put your channel back on YouTube.”
I’m glad YouTube made this right and I would be very glad if you followed my YouTube Channel. Check out all of the great video interviews we are posting. I’ll also be hosting some live events and other behind-the-scenes activities as well. Click here to follow my YouTube Channel.
