A soldier was killed early Wednesday morning at Fort Stewart in Georgia during an incident involving two helicopters, the Army said.

The incident involving two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters happened around 2 a.m. at Wright Army Airfield, according to a 3rd Infantry Division official.
The soldier who died was assigned to the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade.
Officials say the incident is under investigation.
