DEVELOPING STORY: For years I’ve been exposing the Pentagon’s efforts to turn the most powerful fighting force on the planet into an effete bunch of pronoun-confused social justice warriors.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced an amendment that would have defunded drag shows and gay pride month celebrations within the Defense Dept. The Republican congressman was not trying to ban drag queens from the military, nor was he trying to band gay pride month.
Roy was just ensuring that tax dollars would not be used.
So if an airman or sailor want to put on stiletto heels and parade around in a feather boa, they would do so on their own dime.
It was a sensible and fiscally responsible amendment to protect the hard working American taxpayers.
However, 18 Republicans in the House voted against the amendment and in doing so – they threw their support behind the radical LGBT movement. The following lawmakers opposed Roy’s amendment:
