The U.S. Navy is dropping its standards.
The Navy announcing that new sailors no longer have to have a high school diploma. Nor do they have to obtain a GED.
Vice Admiral Rick Cheeseman says thousands of high school dropouts apply every year but are turned away because they lack education credentials.
“This policy update benefits the Navy by expanding the potential applicant pool of highly qualified and motivated future Sailors who may have been impacted by COVID-19 trends of non-traditional schooling, early exit from high school to support their family, or a variety of other individual circumstances,” the Navy Times reports.
The Navy, like most branches of the military, is struggling to find recruits.
The Army in recent years has faced declining physical standards among officers.
And many lawmakers and veterans fear that the woke policies of Barack Obama and Joe Biden have weakened the greatest fighting force in the world. Military preparedness is a grave concern.
One of the big problems is that red-blooded, American boys are no longer interested in joining a woke military that is more focused on social justice issues than fighting wars.
