Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) stormed the 2021 Met Gala wearing a high-dollar designer dress that had the words “tax the rich” plastered on her butt cheeks.
“Of course, who else in Washington would dare,” gushed Vogue.
The 31-year-old wannabe socialist, who wants to ban cheeseburgers and airline travel, was completely unaware of the ironic message she was sending while hobnobbing with the lifestyles of the rich and famous crowd.

“We really started having a conversation about what it means to be a working class woman of color at the Met,” AOC dished to a celebrity host. “We can’t just play along, but we need to break the fourth wall.”
The New York Post reports that tickets for the posh affair cost $35,000 a piece and tables started at $200,000.
I’m curious how a socialist on a congressional salary could afford a $35,000 ticket to the gala — not to mention purchase a designer dress with matching shoes and handbag.
Then again, maybe she picked up the ensemble on the discount rack at Forever 21.
