DEVELOPING STORY: President Biden took a big fall during graduation ceremonies at the Air Force Academy. The president appeared to be unharmed. Military leaders scrambled to help the president back to his feet. He walked back to his seat unassisted.
The president reportedly fell down to his knees after handing out the last diploma to the Air Force cadets. He was helped up by Air Force officials.
Biden pointed to a black sandbag suggesting that’s what he tripped on, according to The Washington Times White House reporter Jeff Mordock.
He appeared to be okay and continued to stand until the end of the ceremony a few minutes later.
