This Thanksgiving I want to reflect on how blessed I am. And most of what I’m thankful for could be similar to you.
As celebrity brain coach Jim Kwik says, “Don’t wait for a great life to be grateful. Be grateful and you’ll have a great life.”
I’m thankful for love, truth, laughter and freedom. And that’s just the beginning of a long list.
I’m grateful for family that have become friends and friends who’ve become family. If this last year has taught us anything, it’s the importance of things that really matter.
I’m grateful for a good God whose mercies are new every morning, who created me fearfully and wonderfully. A Savior who promises as He was, so are we in this world. And a Comforter who guides and directs my steps.
I’m eternally grateful for a global church. I have brothers and sisters in Christ wherever I go, and as I’ve traveled with national radio host and best-selling author Todd Starnes as he speaks to different congregations, I’m reminded of what unites us.
I’m blessed to be an American, born and raised in the most incredible country. I’m thankful for all the opportunities I’ve had, from interning for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) to reporting for Fox News in New York City.
I’m grateful for our horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. For local raw milk and steaks and farm fresh eggs; fresh mint and lavender tea every morning. And of course, matcha. For sunrises and sunsets, clouds in the sky, and fresh air. I’m thankful for running on country roads and reading good books. (Always looking for recommendations)
I’m thankful to share good news and be the editor-in-chief of ToddStarnes.com.
Finally, I’m thankful for all of you. Every single reader, every person who has prayed and supported me. Words cannot express how grateful I am.
What are you thankful for this year? I’d encourage you to journal it, share it with your loved ones, but most importantly, take the time to give thanks.
