Country music superstar Travis Tritt announced on Twitter that he would be removing Anheuser-Busch products from his tour hospitality rider after Bud Light embraced controversial transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.
“I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider. I know many other artists who are doing the same,” Tritt wrote on Twitter.
A number of national businesses and products have endorsed Mulvaney – who is celebrating his decision to “become a woman.”
Jack Daniels, the whiskey company, also announced they will be embracing the transgender agenda. The Tennessee-based company announced they are partnering with Ru Paul’s Drag Race show.
“All the Jack Daniels drinkers should take note,” he wrote.
The makers of Bud-Lite defended its decision to embrace the transgender activist.
“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points,” the company told Buzzfeed News.
“From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
