Mars is offering an all-female brand of M&M’s – the candy that melts in your mouth, not in your hands.
The candy company says their feminist-friendly candy wrappers will honor gals who have flipped the status quo.
Plain, no nuts.
“Women all over the world are flipping how they define success and happiness while challenging the status quo, so we’re thrilled to be able to recognize and celebrate them,” she said. “And who better to help us on that mission than our own powerhouse spokescandies Green, Brown and Purple,” a company spokesperson told Fox News.
They also plan to donate up to a half million dollars to a non-profit that helps women in the music industry.
The new packages will feature only the green, brown and purple candies – designed to look ladylike – ish.
Last year M&M’s introduced the purple spokes candy – designed to represent acceptance and inclusivity.
“Designed to represent acceptance and inclusivity, our newest member is known for her earnest self-expression. Keen self-awareness, authenticity and confidence are the driving forces behind Purple’s charm and quirky nature,” the company said in a statement.
And the green candy was given a makeover to make her more manly.
Back in 2017 Mars made headlines by introducing a lesbian candy couple. The candy company launched an advertising campaign that featured a green M&M and a brown M&M holding hands on a beach.
Something tells me the all-new politically-correct M&M’s might have a bitter after taste.
If it’s all the same, I’ll just satisfy my sweet tooth with a Little Debbie Swiss Roll. A delicious snack cake that doesn’t taste woke.
