Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.

Jon Gruden is no longer the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Resigning after a bunch of private emails he wrote more than a decade ago were made public.

Gruden was intensely critical of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell — as well as a gay football player. He also shared emails that contained photos of partially clothed women.

It should be noted that all of this happened before he was hired to coach the Raiders.

That does not excuse his behavior — but it’s an important distinction.

But I suspect what really got Gruden in trouble were his criticisms of Joe Biden and football players who take a knee to protest the national anthem.

It’s also worth noting that NFL player Deshaun Watson is facing a criminal investigation and 22 lawsuits from women who claim they were harassed and assaulted.

Mr. Watson is still employed with the NFL.

The Cancel Culture mob turns a blind eye to sexual assault, but heaven help the coach who uses locker room language in an email.
