Airline passengers are calling for President Biden to fire Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
This after the FAA grounded all flights on Wednesday due to a glitch in a computer system. It was the first ground stop since the terrorist attacks in 2001.
Buttigieg has been so focused on turning the Transportation Department woke that he’s ignoring our crumbling infrastructure.
For example – the system that broke down is called the Notice to Air Missions. The name was changed from Notice to Airmen in 2021 because it was not inclusive.
“If we go woke, we go broke,” Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) said on Newsmax. “A lot of times with this crowd, it’s more about symbolism over substance. We need to be fixing systems and have people that work showing up to do the job and make sure that we’re focusing on getting people, hiring people that are qualified to do the job.”
Last year, Pete launched a one billion dollar plan to build racial equity into roads and bridges. The transportation secretary literally said that some American highways are racist. One billion dollars. Of your tax money.
If only Pete had spent a fraction of that amount on a floppy disk at Best Buy – maybe just maybe you wouldn’t be stuck at an airport in Kalamazoo.
