The following is a transcript of Todd’s morning radio commentary, heard daily on hundreds of radio stations.

Hello Americans. I’m Todd Starnes with news and commentary next.

My good friend Sean Hannity asked former President Trump a question last night.

Have you made up your mind about 2024? The president nodded that he had — and then proceeded to smile.

I’m not going to presume to know what that means – but the roar of the crowd at Hannity’s town hall — the thousands turning out at his summertime rallies – should be the shot heard round the world.

Our nation is in a tailspin. The border has been overrun. Our major cities have been turned into lawless war zones. Public schools are raising up a new generation of socialists. Our military has been decimated.

The Democrats are fundamentally transforming America – and I don’t see a single Republican leader who can stop the destruction. Except for one. The man who not only promised to make America great again — but delivered on the promise.

If there is a Republican who can rally the base – that person needs to step forward right now. Otherwise, Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee for 2024.

And that’s okay by me.

I’m Todd Starnes
