There is a lot to say about developments unfolding in Afghanistan.
Over the past 20 years the American taxpayers spent $1 trillion training the Afghan’s to fight for their country. Thousands of our brave fighting men and women have either been killed or severely injured.
And in less than a month – the Afghan Army has somehow managed to lose their country to the Taliban.
The insurgents seized Kandahar and Herat – the second and third largest cities. And Fox News is reporting that the U.S. military is going to help evacuate Americans from the embassy in Kabul.
All of this happening after President Biden announced that the final U.S. troops would be removed from the country. But now – the Pentagon is going to have to send even more troops – to help evacuate American citizens and Afghan allies.
There are grave concerns that Afghanistan will once again become a hotbed of Islamic radicalism. It’s a complete debacle.
There is no doubt that Kabul is about to become President Biden’s Saigon.
