The following is a transcript of Todd’s morning commentary – heard on hundreds of radio stations around the nation.
New York City is rolling out the red carpet for illegal aliens.
The is city opening up a high-dollar and high-tech tent city for up to 500 illegals.
“This is a place people can come, rest, relax and kick their feet up after the journey they have been on,” Emergency Management Commissioner Zach Iscol told reporters at the facility on Randall’s Island.
This after border state governors dispatched bus loads of illegals to the Big Apple. Instead of sending them back to where they came from – New York leaders declared a state of emergency and erected the giant tent city.
Illegals will have access to three hot meals a day – along with snacks, coffee and tea.
Those meals are all culturally appropriate. It is South American fare,” Iscol said. “The folks have already been providing food, which is great. Crews, including myself, have been eating it for the past couple of weeks.”
The illegals will be able to binge watch Netflix shows on big screen television sets.
Taxpayer-funded wi-fi and unlimited international phone calls also part of the package – along with x-Box game consoles and ping pong tables.
There’s also 24-7 security at the tent city and around the clock transportation – all courtesy of the American taxpayers.
The illegal aliens are living better than most hard-working, law-abiding Americans.
