A number of well-known Christian ministries are listed as hate groups on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website.
The SPLC is a radical, anti-Christian organization. Last year they updated their so-called hate map. More than 700 organizations it considers to be hate groups. The KKK and white supremacists are listed – but so are well-respected Christian ministries.
Ministries like Alliance Defending Freedom, D. James Kennedy Ministries and Family Research Council.
In August 2012, a terrorist targeted FRC’s headquarters in Washington, DC, planning to shoot everyone in the building and put a Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich by each victim’s head. The shooter opened fire, striking a security guard. He later told the FBI that he found FRC using the SPLC hate map.
Southern Poverty Law Center says the ministries are listed because they are anti-gay and anti-Muslim extremists.
Anybody who loves America, Jesus or their kids is considered an extremist these days.
